Blender Artists is an online creative forum that is dedicated to the growth and education of the 3D software Blender. I have downloaded a.mesh file but Blender doesn’t open it (it doesn’t list the file in the file browser since it isn’t an expected format). Re: How to open f3d file in blender. You can export a T-Spline control cage from Fusion 360 in.obj format and work with it in Blender. If you model is a solid model then you can export it in.stl format, which is a triangulated mesh. If you want to continue modeling in Blender then your options are limited.
Waiting for a plugin for Blender and Nifskope etc. There is, but it relies on PYFFI and that hasn't been updated in a long ass time. Frankly, they need to make some greater changes to it and there just doesn't seem to be as much interest in developing it.I'm just gonna bite the bullet and do all the modeling and stuff in blender, than rig and set materials in max and export. I don't like max. It's ugly, it uses a system of sub windows, and worst of all it takes at least two minutes to start to start up. My god, those are the same reasons I use photoshop over gimp. Now that is screwed up.Posts: 3449 Joined: Sat Oct 07, 2006 7:17 am. The havok animation are in a packed form that the default preview tools dont like to load.
The files have to be converted to one of the other formats (such as the XML format) and then the preview tool will load the xml. What cannot be loaded using the free Havok tools are anything involving Behaviors which Bethesda does use.
I've been able to open the troll skeleton and play those animations successfully in the preview tool. I've not been able to do the same with dragons though.Posts: 3300 Joined: Sun Jun 18, 2006 12:35 am.
